Santa will be taking time out from his busy schedule this Christmas Eve to take part in a special Children’s Christmas Party!
The event has been organised by AFC Fylde Community Foundation as part of their popular calendar of children’s holiday camps.
After dropping off his presents, Santa will challenge the children to see if they can beat him in the festive fun-packed games session.
The Christmas Party is open to all boys and girls aged between 5-12 years old and will take place this year at Kirkham St Michael’s Primary School. It will provide a safe and fun environment for children to meet new friends alongside playing sports and Christmas games to get in the mood for the big day.
The party is £16 for a full day of organised activity and includes a present from Santa and Christmas lunch. Due to huge demand, places are strictly limited and the Foundation urge anybody who may be interesting in attending to sign up soon to avoid disappointment.
Physical Activity Officer at the Foundation Dan Cookson is excited about the plans for the important date in the Foundation’s Advent calendar. He said: “In previous years, the children’s Christmas party has been a fantastic memorable day. It’s a fun-filled, happy and safe environment where parents can drop their children off and have a few more hours for themselves, preparing for the big day.
“Being so close to Christmas it’s an even always filled with laughter, and something in which I think the coaches enjoy taking part in as much as the children!”
