Foundation Activity Camps Are Good To Go!
AFC Fylde Community Foundation is delighted to announce that its February Activity Camp is safe to go ahead.
The Foundation will be running the popular Kirkham based half-term camp for all youngsters still requiring child-care while schools are closed.
The committed team at the charitable arm of AFC Fylde have been working long and hard to ensure they can welcome the children of key workers into a safe, secure, and happy environment at their established Kirkham St Michaels Primary School location.
Whilst living in these unprecedented times, the Foundation understand the need for childcare and provision for those people still needing to go to work during school closures. Working with local authorities and primary schools, the Foundation were pleased to receive confirmation that they are still able to go ahead and deliver the activity camp for local children.
Whilst the aim of the camp is for the children to have fun, the Foundation have emphasised that safety is their number one priority, and all Coronavirus rules and regulations will be followed to the highest standard.
There will be a maximum capacity of 30 children per day, with pre-booking a requirement to ensure safety requirements can be met.
The Foundation urge anybody who may need to book a place to do so as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
