Foundation To Hold ‘Spooktacular’ Activity Camp!
There will be lots of tricks and treats in store for local youngsters at two special October half-term activity camps.
The ‘Spooktacular’ events are being delivered by AFC Fylde Community Foundation, in partnership with the Frank Whittle Partnership Group, and promise to be frighteningly good fun.
The popular action – and pumpkin – packed programmes will be held at two locations during the October school holidays, which means more boys, girls (and ghouls) between the ages of 5 and 12 can get involved!
Taking place at the established Kirkham St Michael’s Primary School location and the newly formed B-Active Leisure Centre camp in Warton, the Foundation will be ensuring all local children have a safe, stimulating environment in which to enjoy to their break away from the classroom.
As well as maintaining their exceptionally high standards, the staff at the Foundation have gone to great lengths to introduce a Halloween theme into the camps – including a fancy-dress party – as well as the usual activities, games, excursions, player visits, and celebratory trophy presentations.
Demand for places is always high and capacity is limited, so the Foundation is urging anybody who wants to get involved at either of the October camps to book in advance, to avoid disappointment.

AFC Fylde Community Foundation Activity Camp Coach, Dan Crofts, is excited about getting the fun underway. He said: “Our holiday camps are always a fantastic experience when we welcome in so many new and familiar faces.
“Children love Halloween, so we’ve got lots of surprises in store to make it extra special for them this year!”
