Foundation’s Development Centre Launch On The Ball!
After weeks of planning and preparation, AFC Fylde Community Foundation are celebrating the successful launch of their newly opened Football Development Centre.
Catering for a mix of ages and abilities from 2-14 years old, the redeveloped Football Centre has just completed its first week and has certainly hit the target with local children and parents!
The charitable arm of AFC Fylde Football Club has created the centre with the aim of providing a safe, constructive and positive environment for aspiring footballers to attend once a week, meet new friends and develop their skills working with the experienced coaches from the Foundation.
Whilst the new-look centre is now fully up and running, there are still lots of opportunities for local children to get involved and sign up to the programme.
The Foundation are urging the parents or guardians of any local children who may be interested and would benefit from the sessions to get in touch and see how the organisation can help by calling 01772 598856 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Foundation Development Centre Lead Dan Crofts is delighted with the success of the opening week. He said: “We put a lot of careful planning into ensuring the centre is a great success. We want children to arrive and feel like they are being supported to progress and learn new skills, whilst enjoying themselves in a fun and safe environment.
“We couldn’t have hoped for more from the opening week. The reaction to the redeveloped centre has been overwhelmingly positive and I’m really pleased with how successful the sessions have been. Moving forward, things can only continue to get even better.”
