University Degree programme
The Foundation is proud to boast a two-year Foundation Degree programme alongside the University of South Wales, offering two Foundation Degree opportunities in Sports Coaching and Football Development with the option to complete a third year ‘top up’ degree in order to gain a full BsC. The Foundation is also able to offer a full BA(Hons) degree in Business Development.
The courses are designed for individuals wanting to attain a university qualification and are passionate about pursuing a career in the sports industry, and will run from Fylde Sports and Education Centre, offering a mixture of pre-recorded and live lectures.
We structure the course to enable students to learn and develop valuable skills within Community Development, Children and Youth coaching, as well as Sports and Event Management, with students completing 400 hours of work placement during their course of study alongside Foundation staff. The course will also provide one-to-one mentoring from trained and experienced Foundation staff members
