Fans of the Future scheme returns to AFC Fylde home matchdays this season

AFC Fylde Community Foundation are once again hosting the Fans of the Future scheme for grassroot football clubs across the 2024/2025 season.

After the popularity of it last year, the Foundation, alongside AFC Fylde, have made the decision to bring back our Fans of the Future programme.

The scheme runs every home matchday at Mill Farm.

The Official Charity of AFC Fylde and the club are seeking for Grassroots teams under 8s, 9s and 10s to participate in the programme.

We offer the opportunity for each team to experience a stadium tour, a gift bag for each child, a free ticket for themselves plus one accompanying adult (maximum of 12 children per team), to present a guard of honour on the pitch as the players walk out ahead of kick off and the chance to take a penalty on the pitch in front of the North Stand at the half-time interval.

The programme is currently open to teams that have not previously taken part before and fixtures are on a first come first serve basis.

The package is completely free of charge as we want to show our support to local grassroot teams and it also provides a way to create AFC Fylde's "Fans of the Future".

Our Chief Operating Officer, Michael Whittle, said: "One of the highlights of every matchday last season was being able to introduce a new team to Mill Farm and hopefully give them a memory they'll never forget.

"It was a no brainer for us to bring the programme back for a second season because there are still plenty of grassroot teams that we would love to be able to support.

"What's not to enjoy about a free football match? And with everything else added on top of it we have no doubt it will be successful for everyone involved once again".

Spaces are limited so if you would like to register your interest, please email michael.whittle@afcfylde.co.uk.
