Foundation launches shoe appeal!

AFC Fylde Community Foundation are pleased to host Football Welcomes, a project which helps local refugees and asylum seekers to integrate into the community through football.

Since the project began, the Foundation have helped several members of the local community to familiarise themselves with the local community, meet new friends and find support with employability, learning functional skills and more.

The Foundation are now asking for donations of appropriate footwear for our participants, such as trainers and boots, which will enable our participants to take part in sessions. We are looking for footwear suitable for both men and women, and can be used but must be wearable.
