Get in shape for Christmas with AFC Fylde Community Foundation’s new free six-week fitness programme

Fancy getting fitter for the festive period? AFC Fylde Community Foundation’s new free six-week fitness programme, in partnership with Fylde Council, can help you get into shape!

The weekly fitness sessions, open to men and women over 18, will start on Wednesday 15th November at Mill Farm, the home of AFC Fylde, and provides the perfect opportunity to kick-start your fitness journey in time for Christmas.

Our fitness programme will be held in the unique setting of a professional football ground, so, with just 10 weeks to go until Christmas, there is no better time to take control and achieve your fitness goals at AFC Fylde Community Foundation.

Timings for sessions are as follows:

Women: 6pm-7pm

Men: 7:15pm-8:15pm

As enjoyable as Christmas is, we often put our bodies through a lot by eating and drinking more than we normally do throughout the rest of the year, with our programme ideal if you want to end 2023 in the best shape possible.

George Kneen-Cookson, Health and Wellbeing Officer at AFC Fylde Community Foundation, said: “It’s a great opportunity to get in shape for Christmas at Mill Farm, so if you want to end the year by getting fitter, we look forward to welcoming you to our sessions.”
