It's been a hectic eight days for 16-18 year olds as they have either collected their GCSE or A-Level results.
We hope everyone has come away with the results they wanted and worked so hard for - but if you, or your child, or even just someone you know didn't receive the results they needed or wanted, we are here to help.
AFC Fylde Community Foundation's Employability and Skills team is here to help any Fylde resident that requires it.
Our staff are specially trained to work alongside people aged 16 or older to help find them a place in any of Employment, Education or Training.
As per our 2023 Impact Report, we helped 109 participants in our Fylde Focus project, 90 of which were progressed into employment whilst we provided the other 19 of them with a pathway into education.
We tailor the pathway to the individual, we don't advise them to go down a route they aren't comfortable with - if they express their interests then that's what we aim to achieve.
For example, in the last couple of months we have helped James (pictured left) become self-employed and set up his own band.
Then on the other hand we've helped Luna (pictured below) onto a short-term Floristry course with the end goal being to become a full-time Florist and also managed to find funding for her so she didn't have to worry about money whilst on the course.
They are just a couple of the many examples we are proud to boast at the Foundation.
Chris McNally, our Employability and Skills Manager said: "Results day is always a tough day for many people, but if you don't get the results you want it is by no means the end of the line.
"We offer so many different routes after leaving school or college that there are options for absolutely everyone.
"Our team have individual meetings with each participant in an attempt to build a rapport with them and understand their wishes as best as we can - in order to provide the best possible outcome for each person."
If yourself or anyone you know didn't receive the results they wanted either at GCSE level or A-Levels, please contact natasha.green@afcfylde.co.uk.
