A fantastic time was had by all at AFC Fylde Community Foundation’s popular Veterans Coffee Morning on Friday!
The Coffee Morning, which is a part of the wider Armed Forces project, takes place on the last Friday of every month.
This week, group members were treated to a delicious breakfast in the Aroma Café at Mill Farm, home of AFC Fylde.
Tea, coffee, and refreshments were also available for the attending members.
The group also meet at Toby Carvery in Lytham St Anne’s on the second Thursday of every month.
AFC Fylde Community Foundation’s Veterans Coffee Mornings are the perfect place for former or current Military personnel in the local area to meet up with each other, as well as having a chat and a cuppa.
Our Armed Forces Project, overseen by Lee Geraghty, who spent over 20 years in the British Army, aims to help those who have served their country, and their families across Fylde - with support from the Veterans Foundation and BAE Systems.
Along with the Coffee Mornings, other projects include the veterans support programme, for those who are set to leave the Armed Forces, one-to-one support plus much more, so there is something for everyone at one of our inclusive groups, which provides a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded people and make new friends.
We look forward to welcoming members of our local Armed Forces community to our projects at AFC Fylde Community Foundation!
