Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships help create new opportunities for people across the Fylde Coast while supporting local businesses to grow their teams. Working with employers, colleges, training providers, local authorities and business networks, the Foundation helps connect Fylde residents aged 16 and over with meaningful apprenticeship pathways and potential grant support.
Fylde Focus
Fylde Focus supports people aged 16 to 65 across the Fylde Borough who are currently not in education, employment or training. Through one-to-one support, further education and training opportunities, CV guidance and interview preparation, the programme helps participants build confidence, develop skills and take positive steps towards employment. Training Ground
Training Ground is a three-day programme delivered every four weeks, helping participants identify the skills and qualities employers value. Through group and individual activities, CV support, job search guidance and personal development, the programme helps people overcome physical, mental and personal barriers as they move closer to employment. University Degrees
Delivered in partnership with the University of South Wales, the Foundation’s degree programmes give students the opportunity to gain a university qualification while developing real experience in the sports and community sector. With pathways in Sports Coaching, Football Development and Business Development, students can build valuable skills, complete work placements and learn directly from experienced Foundation staff.
